India's EV charging network crossed 30,000 public points — what it means for buyers
Public charging has more than doubled in two years. Here is how the network now maps onto the country's busiest highway corridors.

Public charge points are now concentrated along the Delhi-Mumbai, Mumbai-Pune and Bengaluru-Chennai corridors, where a fast charger appears roughly every 60 km.

For buyers, the practical consequence is that a 400 km highway run in a 45 kWh electric car is now realistic with one 30-minute stop, provided you plan around a specific network.

Rural coverage remains thin, so a home or workplace charger is still the single most important factor in living with an EV.
